Speaker Oulanya up for censure

For many in the opposition, the presence of deputy speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanya at a countryside retreat of the ruling NRM caucus was a betrayal of the independence of the August House. And now the angry opposition MPs are on track to claim his political scalp. On Tuesday, they issued their toughest ultimatum yet; Oulanya either resigns or he’s pushed.
