The Uganda Law Society (ULS) president Bruce Kyerere fears plans by government to ban live television broadcasts will infringe on civil liberties and says it is in total contravention of the constitution. Kyerere’s comments come hot on the heels of threats by government to torpedo the airing of content arising out of the walk to work protests that have spiralled out of control.
