WEST NILE - Police in Maracha district are holding 30-year old Doreen Nakasi, of Bombo Town Council in Luwero district for possessing fake money. Police found Nakasi in possession of Shs200, 000 in fake currency and Shs54, 000 genuine money. According to the West Nile regional police spokesperson Josephine Angucia, Nakasi had already bought silver fish (mukene) from Agnes Fitina, Mary Andiru and Flavia Amanio, using a fake note of Shs20, 000.
