MTN launches ‘hate’ war on competitors

The price war in Uganda’s telecommunication industry has taken a new angle after an advertisement published in the local dailies detailed how the public is being ripped off by “small networks”. In what appears to be a hate campaign, Metropolitan Republic, an international ad agency which handles creative adverts for MTN, says this was a message for customers in the interest of fair and open competition.
