Rape and defilement cases totally mishandeled

A 13-year-old P.3 pupil in Mamba Primary School in Kuwing sub-county Nebbi gave birth by caesarean section last Monday. This was extremely disheartening to parents and readers especially as the baby is in critical condition which could possibly result to death. We are also aware that the young mother and her mother are facing a challenge of reporting such a case, due to lack of funds to file this case. In Uganda today, the fee for a lawyer is unfavourable to an ordinary Citizen yet in this case
