The United States has slammed the government’s crack down on the opposition ‘Walk-to-work’ protest. According to a statement by Mark Toner, the acting deputy spokesman at the US Department of State, United States is concerned by Monday’s arrest of opposition leaders Kizza Besigye and Norbert Mao for participating in a walk-to-work protest over rising prices in Uganda.
