Former presidential candidate Beti Olive Kamya has described the effects of the recent walk-to-work demonstrations as a serious problem for training in the police force.
Kamya was yesterday visiting riot victims in Mulago Hospital where she distributed food items. “When government buys tear gas and bullets, they should also buy drugs. You cannot buy tear gas and bullets and forget to buy drugs,” she said. Government promised to help the victims, but it has not.
