Over the past one month, Kampala and it neighbouring districts have been gripped by violent protests. It is not clear when this will end. But one thing for sure is neither government nor the opposition spear heading the riots can sustain this approach to solving an economic crisis. The two parties must find a give and take midpoint before the economy is brought to its knees.
