Victims of police brutality in its relentlessly aggressive crackdowns on walk-to-work campaigners are growing in number and many are rotting in hospitals. They are crying out for help. Many are giving harrowing details in interviews about how they were shot or beaten and how they have spent days hopelessly lying in Mulago Hospital without any meaningful treatment.
There are at least 50 patients in Mulago who sustained bullet wounds, including toddlers, yet none of them was actively involved
