Heavy rains cause transport hitch

Karamoja - Transport fares have shot up in the region, following the heavy rains that destroyed the roads and bridges in the districts of Moroto, Napak and Nakapiripirit. The situation has been worsened by the soaring fuel costs, and a tour by The Razor reporter to the three districts on Sunday, April 8, established that most roads had become impassable after the rain created potholes and displaced culverts at rivers.
