Manufacturers dash for Tullow Oil’s first product

Manufacturers will get some relief from the rising cost of transporting crude oil from the Gulf into the country when Tullow Oil starts pumping crude from its wells in western Uganda next month. Hima Cement, strategically located in the oil producing region, will be the first among the selected manufacturers to benefit from the early production of heavy fuels.
