The Mombasa petroleum refinery will stop taking new loads of crude oil for refining from July, Kenya’s Ministry of Energy has said. This will mark the shift to importation of refined fuel as the government moves to address frequent shortages that have been attributed to inefficiency at the Kenya Petroleum Refinery (KPRL).
