As we celebrated International Labour Day, it is important to highlight the achievements, challenges and the way forward for Ugandan workers. Although, it is still an immense challenge, let me thank the parliament for the implementation and enforcement of the Employment Act 2006, Workers Compensation Act 2000, Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006, among others
My gratitude goes towards the parliamentary finance committee for restoring order in National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
