The sky is the limit

Every passing day, women keep on disproving the mentality that they are the weaker sex. At every opportunity they will prove that what a man can do a
woman can and even better. On November 12, 2010 the Tanzanian parliament made history when it elected Ann Makinda who became the first woman to become speaker not only in Tanzania but in East Africa.

Less than a year later, the Ugandan parliament on Thursday 19th May 2011 Rebecca Kadaga who has been the Deputy Speaker for the last ten years
