African cities most expensive places to live

While expatriates are living comfortably in the suburbs of Kampala and in some villages in Uganda, no one knows how they would fare if they were living in Luanda the capital of Angola.

In a report released Tuesday July 12 2011 by Global business consultant Mercer’s 2011 Cost of Living Survey, Luanda has been ranked the most expensive city in the world for expatriates out of 214 of the world's biggest cities in order of how much it costs to live there.
