Couple separates at Police station over cheating

A couple that has spent seven years in marriage with two children have separated at Kawempe Police Station over cheating, beating and threatening to kill each other.

Aisha Batenda, 28, dragged her husband to Police for allegedly cheating on her with a neighbour and for also attempting to strangle her.

Batenda’s husband Hakim Bukenya, 34, a taxi conductor at Bwaise stage, and a resident of Mayinja zone, Kawempe division, is detained at Kawempe Police Station for assaulting her
