When the national women’s cricket league starts in earnest next Saturday, July 23, there can be no better incentive than the announcement, made on Friday by Africa Cricket Association chairman Cassim Suliman, that Uganda will host the Africa women’s championship in December.
The announcement came hot on the heels of Uganda’s resounding success in hosting the Pepsi ICC T20 tournament in Kampala last week.
