Motion to bar journalists gets thrown out

Mubende - District councilors have objected to a proposal to bar journalists from attending council sessions. Reacting to the motion tabled by the Kasanda county councilor Zaidi Kalema, the other Mubende district councilors led by the speaker Ephrance Kiguli and councilor Saif Magezi Nsereko rejected his proposal, saying that journalists are vital for effective information dissemination.
