After discovering that most private sector employers were cheating their workers, NSSF launched a whistleblower campaign that saw employees report their employers who were defaulting on remitting their contributions.
As thousands of employers in the private sector got caught up in the trap NSSF offered them amnesty to register and make the monthly contributions.
