To hold joint strikes with manufacturers

Kampala City traders yesterday called off a two-day strike sanctioned by their umbrella organization KACITA which ended with no firm commitments from government.
If anything, the traders pushed government to listen, forced their way to the top of Parliament’s Order Paper and, subsequently, a ministerial statement. But economic experts think the traders should not chest thump yet.
