Shilling firm on rising dollar inflows

The shilling has continued to post significant gains against the American dollar on account of improved inflows of dollars and other major international currencies, the central bank said yesterday. The local unit yesterday traded at 2375/2383 per dollar in major commercial banks and forex bureaux in Kampala – a slight leap from 2376/2390 on Monday.
