Gulu - The Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) were called in to beef up the police, following Thursday’s chaos in which two people lost their lives. This followed the launch of the walk-to-work demonstration in Gulu, which was set in motion by the LCV chairperson, Norbert Mao. As a result, several people in the district abandoned their places of work in fear, and most, including businessmen did not re-open on Friday.
