Uganda Law Society, the umbrella body of lawyers in the country on Saturday unanimously resolved to call of their three-day sit-down strike that paralysed court proceedings across the country last week. The lawyers commenced their strike last Wednesday in protest of Government’s grotesque violation of human rights during opposition walk-to-work demonstrations against the escalating fuel and food prices.
