Moyo - The district Disaster Management Committee (DMC) has expressed fear over an imminent outbreak of malaria and some water borne diseases in Dufile sub-county. This follows a heavy downpour on Tuesday and Wednesday last week that resulted in floods which destroyed 132 pit latrines and 62 bathing shelters in the sub county. Kocia, Oruba and Njerea villages and, Indridri market are the most risky areas of the 19 villages affected by the floods.
