Yanga Africans needed at least nine penalties to beat resilient Red Sea of Eritrea 6-5 in post match penalty shoot outs on Wednesday, to sail through into the semi-finals of the Kalama Castle Cup 2011.
The teams had tied 0-0 in regulation time after Red Sea who came into the match as underdogs gave a good account of themselves against their more fancied opponents who had massive home support.
