Serious action will be taken against the military police which abused journalists who were covering the walk to work protests last week, the Human Rights Network for Journalists (HRNJ) has warned. While addressing journalists in Kampala yesterday, HRNJ chairman Robert Sempala said seven journalists were injured and others had their cameras confiscated for taking pictures involving the military’s abuse of civilians.
