Makerere in campaign to save water

Makerere University will start a programme geared at addressing the contemporary issues pertaining to water and sanitation degradation.
According to Moses Tenwya, the Director of Makerere University Agriculture Research, water resources are facing serious challenges due to population increase.

“With the current rate of land degradation, if nothing is done to conserve the rest of water resources then world is doomed,” he revealed during a one-day multi-stakeholders’ conference
