The Government has asked the Constitutional Court to dismiss former Vice President Prof Gilbert Bukenya’s application to stay proceedings against him at the Anti-Corruption Ccourt.
The state’s case is that Bukenya has not made a case that would stop the Inspector General of Government (IGG) and the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) from exercising their mandate of prosecuting criminal matters.
