If the East African Elite Cricket League, which starts next month, can in any way measure up to the success of this week’s inaugural Pepsi ICC Twenty20 Africa Premier League – with all its excitement, verve and entertainment – then Cricket Kenya, the Uganda Cricket Association and others who have contributed to the project will have created something of which they can be truly proud.
