KIU denies sacking employees over elections

BUSHENYI— The management of Kampala International University, Western Campus, has denied allegations that it sacked over 30 employees for not supporting Jaffar Basajjabalaba, an elder brother to Hassan Basajjabalaba, the proprietor of the institution.
The university deputy Vice Chancellor, Yusuf Sadiq, said those who claim to have been sacked due to their political inclination resigned willingly while others were laid off due to poor performance.
