Parliament has been asked to expeditiously pass the draft bill on HIV/AIDS into law to accelerate efforts to fight the disease.
The Uganda AIDS Commission said that the continued stalling of the HIV and AIDS Prevention and Control Bill 2008 which seeks to criminalise deliberate transmission of AIDS is hampering efforts by stakeholders in the fight against the scourge.
