Unemployment is biting hard and harder

After 30 years of a stellar career, this past August I was laid off as a senior-level marketer. A person doesn’t forget such a significant life-event and soon after discovers that landing a new job on average will take months and for some more than a year. Like so many people in the same situation I gave my all to every company and client for which I’ve worked.
