More ambulances needed for accident victims

A concern that has for long riddled the image of the Uganda police, just as much as Mulago, Uganda’s national referral hospital is finally blowing up. More times than not, the media have shown accident victims being ferried to hospital at the back of police patrol pickups in the most reckless, harshest and grossest of ways. In civilized societies, it is the role of the ambulance to take care of such emergencies.
