Kampala Woman Member of Parliament Nabila Nagayi Ssempala yesterday became the latest victim of the police’s brutal crackdown on walk-to-work protesters. Nabila was roughed up in Kabalagala, a Kampala suburb, as she attempted to participate in the protests by walking to parliament.
Vincent Ssekate, deputy police spokesperson, said Nabila left her home in her vehicle but when she reached Kansanga, near Kampala International University (KIU), she got out of the vehicle
