Though they have lived on their land for 35 years, they are now facing eviction with no compensation. But the over 20 former workers of the Lands ministry are willing to die, rather than leave their land. The surveyors, who worked under the then Ministry of Lands and Surveys, are battling over a two acre piece of land located at Plot 136 Block 28 Kibuga zone behind the Makerere University Primary School in Wandegeya.
