NGOs join scribes in oil case

Four Non Governmental Organisations have petitioned High Court seeking to join a case filed by two journalists challenging government’s refusal to disclose information about oil. The NGOs are Africa Institute for Energy Governance, World Voice of Uganda, Navigators of Development Association and BERUDA. In their application, the NGOs claim Charles Mwangushya and Angelo Izama’s case involves human rights violation and that Court should give a clear scrutiny.
